How an offer gets onto this page

Cook’s doesn’t run a national promotion calendar. Offers are decided by the office in Palm Coast, usually around a season or a piece of equipment the company wants to move, and they’re published for a specific market. What you see here is what applies to Jacksonville.

Every offer has a start date, an end date and a plain description of what it covers. When you call, the dispatcher confirms it, and it goes on the written quote. An offer that isn’t on the quote isn’t an offer, which protects you from a technician’s memory and protects us from a misunderstanding.

When the Jacksonville calendar tends to produce one

The rhythm of this city shapes the timing.

Late winter. Oak and pine pollen start in February, and a coil-cleaning or spring maintenance special lines up with it.

Before Memorial Day. The hot season begins around May 21, and replacement offers on high-efficiency Lennox systems tend to appear while install crews still have open days.

Hurricane season and after. Surge protection, post-storm inspections and air handler elevation for riverfront homes.

November. Heating checks ahead of the first freeze, which usually arrives in early December.

Reading an offer the way we mean it

An offer never changes the job. A discounted tune-up is the full tune-up. A promotional price on a system is the same system, installed the same way, with the same warranty registration. If an offer seems to require buying something you didn’t ask about, call and we’ll clear it up.

What’s active for Duval right now

The active offers for this market, with their dates and terms, come from the office; call and ask what is running. The standing commitments don’t change: free estimates on new systems, no after-hours charges, and financing with low monthly payments on high-efficiency equipment. [[CONFIRM WITH JERRY]]

The fine print, answered

Are offers posted here good at the Beaches and in Baker County too?

Yes. Anything published for the Jacksonville market applies across Duval, the Beaches, and the Nassau and Baker towns we serve from the same dispatch board. There’s no separate price list for Macclenny.

If I book during an offer but the install lands after it ends, which applies?

The offer you booked under. The date on the signed quote is what counts, not the date the crew arrives, which matters in Jacksonville where equipment lead times and permit scheduling can push a job out.

Will the JEA rebate still apply on top of a Cook's offer?

The JEA rebate is a utility program with its own rules and is applied on the invoice when the equipment qualifies and the program year is open. A Cook’s offer doesn’t change your eligibility. Whether a given offer and the rebate can both appear on one invoice is something we’ll confirm in writing on the quote.
